For more than three decades, PMA’s technical paper presentations have provided an important industry opportunity to showcase technical developments to industry leaders at the Association’s meetings. Technical papers are chosen for presentation based on their technical content, timeliness of the subject, and relevance to PMA members and the industry. PMA also presents an award to the Best Paper as selected by a representative from each attending company.
Abstract submissions for the 2026 PMA Annual Meeting are now closed. Information on submitting for the 2027 Annual Meeting will be available later this year.

2026 Technical Paper Timeline:
- Technical Paper Abstracts Due: January 31, 2026
- Voting on submitted abstracts by: February 20, 2026
- Selected Papers Notified: by February 27, 2026
- Completed Papers Due (if selected): April 17, 2026
Technical Paper presentations will be on the afternoon of Monday, June 15, 2026. The length of each presentation will be determined by the final quantity selected.
